Es heißt VV Amore: VV ist ein Spitzname und Amore bedeutet Liebe auf Italienisch. Ich liebe Handtaschen und deshalb gab ich ihnen meinen Spitznamen VV und VV liebt... Handtaschen!Woher kommst du?
Ich bin Engländerin, wohne aber in Glasgow.
Was inspiriert dich und welche Materialien benutzt du?
VV Amore steht für handgemachte Handtaschen und ist für modebewusste Frauen bestimmt, die ihr Leben in ihren Taschen tragen. Unsere Taschen sollen vor allem praktisch sein, aber auch chic und bezahlbar. Ich verarbeite hochwertigen italienischen Stoff und Leder, die nicht in Massenproduktion hergestellt werden. Mich inspirieren die täglichen Anforderungen, an denen ich meine handgemachten Taschen anpasse. Sie sollen nicht nur von Außen gut aussehen, sondern auch Innen mit Taschen viel Platz bieten. Das Futter kann außerdem ausgewechselt werden, damit man schnell seine Tasche wechseln kann. Ich habe eine große Auswahl, die sich auch Trends anpassen. Meine Taschen sollen nicht nur hübsch aussehen, sondern auch praktisch sein.
Außerdem finde ich, dass jede Frau ihr eigenen Taschen und Stoffe aussuchen kann und sie dadurch eine einzigartige Tasche haben, die sich ihren Anforderungen anpasst. Mittlerweile biete ich vier verschiedene Designs an, die praktisch und funktional sein, aber auch nach Trends gehen. Bei der "2 in 1"-Linie mit zwei Handtaschen und einem austauschbaren Innenfutter bekommt man beispielsweise von einer. Sie kann zum einen als stylishe Handtasche, zum anderen als praktische Tote getragen werden.

Wie und warum entwirfst du genau Handtaschen?
Ich konnte für einen Urlaub keine Tasche finden, die funktional ist, aber auch gut aussieht. Meine Familien und Freunde waren die ersten, die meine Taschen haben wollten und als das Interesse stieg, habe ich Kurse besucht mit einem Ex Mulberry Taschendesigner trainiert. Darauf folgte meine Website, wo man die Kollektionen bestellen kann.
Stellst du auf Messen auf?
Ich verkaufe meine Taschen ausschließlich direkt auf meiner Homepage vvamore.com und lokale Boutiquen.
What is the name of the label and what is the idea behind the name?
VV Amore. VV is a nickname and Amore means love in Italian. So given my love of handbags i combined the 2 things to create VV Amore or VV loves.... handbags!Where are you from?
I am English but am now based in Glasgow in Scotland.
What is the inspiration behind your collection and what kind of materials do you use?
VV Amore is dedicated to designing handmade handbags for fashion conscious women who “juggle” their life’s and live in their handbags! Our handmade handbags are designed to be practical, yet chic and very affordable. I use high quality Italian leathers and fabrics and my handbags are not mass produced. I am inspired by the needs of everyday life to produce handmade handbags that look fantastic on the outside but are also ergonomically effective with plenty of pockets and a lining that can be “x-changed” between handbags to make for a quick handbag change. I have a number of ranges and design seasonal specials to pick up on seasonal trends. The highest quality Italian leathers are used and my target audience are women who appreciate excellent design combined with fashion and functionality. My handbags are not only made to be “pretty” but are useful to! I am continually inspired to make my handbags functional and am always looking for ways to achieve this.
I also thought it would be great to allow customers to pick their own colours and fabrics so that they had a unique handbag completely designed to their requirements. I now have four ranges offering practicality and functionality whilst keeping up with seasonal trends. I have designed handbags that are not only wonderful to look at but are extremely functional. For instance the 2 handbags in 1 range provides our customers with 2 handbags for the price of 1. The larger innovative design of the handbag provides you with a stylish handbag with the practicality of a Tote Bag. This combination can be used as a one or two bag format depending on the moment. So if you need to fill up the Tote bag but don’t want to take both handbags with you to a meeting or night out you simply remove the inner bag and of you go!

For 2 years.
How or why did you start designing bags?
As a fanatical handbag user i could not find a handbag that provided the functionality that i required for a holiday that i was going on. As such i decided to try making it myself. Then friends and family started asking me to make them handbags and as the interest grew i decided to take a handbag course and trained with an ex Mulberry handbag designer. Following this i set up my website to manage my collections and orders better.
